Congratulations are in order for 24-year-old Tyla, who showed up and showed out at the 2026 Grammy Awards, which took place on Sunday, February 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The global superstar turned heads on the red carpet and added another Grammy to her growing list of wins.

While Sunday night marked a major career milestone, all eyes were firmly on the red carpet - because the pretty girl from Joburg’s fashion moments are always highly anticipated, especially for the archives she brings to life.

Styled by Ronnie Hart, the “Mr Media” singer stepped onto the carpet in an archival Dsquared2 gown that is sure to instantly land her on best-dressed headlines.

She kept it soft and very Tyla with the barely-there blush-pink number, covered in delicate crystal detailing. It clung to all the right parts of her body, revealing just the right amount of skin.

The gasp-worthy part of the Autumn/Winter 2013 gown was the feathered train trailing behind her, effortlessly giving drama and movement as she strode forward to pose for the cameras.

Tyla added her own flair, wearing the 'Dsquared2' 2013 Autumn/Winter gown.

Styled in jewellery from Pandora, whom she joined as a global ambassador in 2025, Tyla was iced out in more than 100 lab-grown diamonds for the night. She topped the look with a custom Together Collier, which, according to experts, is crafted in 14K white gold, set with 116 diamonds weighing just over 11 carats. She then layered two tennis bracelets around her neck as chokers, turning them into a bold statement piece.

Her gorgeous hair was styled half-up, with a long, loose fringe sweeping across her face, adding a soft, sultry touch to the overall look.

What made the moment even more iconic is that Tyla walked the red carpet just minutes after being announced as the winner of Best African Music Performance for Push 2 Start.” At the time of her interviews, she had no idea she had officially become a two-time Grammy winner.

During a red carpet chat with "AP", Tyla was asked about affirmations - something she has spoken about often in the past, especially before her global breakout. Her answer was very on brand.

“Yes, I mean I’m not too serious with them. I just look at the mirror and I’m like, ‘girl, you look sexy, like girl you’re fire’, you know, just chilled stuff like that,” she said.

Ahead of the ceremony, the singer also attended the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala in Los Angeles, where she opted for a sharp black cut-out gown with a plunging neckline and sculpted sides, reminding everyone why her looks are always making headlines.
