The “Re Tla Mo Leboga Kang” singer shared on the caption that her manager and son pretended that she had to attend a meeting she was eagerly waiting for. At first, she did not want to go, but they convinced her that it was important that she was present.
“Okay, hello 2026. Story of my life. Last Wednesday, my manager @morereng, who is my youngest brother and @malesela_mccoy_kekae, my son, told me that I was needed for a very important meeting that I was anticipating.
“Then I said to them I was tired and wanted to rest for January and they said that it wouldn’t make sense for them to attend that meeting without me.
“Okay, fast forward, I got there, and it was my early 45th birthday present - hubby bought me my favourite car,” she shared.
Mashaba further added that she once told her husband that she won’t die before driving her dream car, as she proceeded to thank him for all the efforts he makes for her.
The award-winning singer was showered with congratulatory messages on social media from fans, friends and family.
“Congratulations, mama,” fellow gospel singer Dumi Mkokstad commented.
“Wow, congratulations woman of God,” Kenyan gospel singer, Evelyn Wanjiru Agundabweni wrote.
While YouTuber and gospel singer Mpumi Mtsweni-Tshabalala added, “Shuuu, this is so beautiful, mama, congratulations.”
