At the beginning of every year, we see a lot of people online sharing that they are starting their health journey by exercising, eating healthy and more.
Content creator and comedian Lebohang “The Funny Chef” Tlokana revealed that she is also embarking on a weight loss journey.
She took to social media to share her reasons as to why she decided to do this, and per her comedic nature, she also added a touch of humour when she stated the reasons.
“I read your comments, some of your comments on my previous video about my weight loss. One, I am doing this for me, not for you.
“Two, I’m tired of being fat; it’s an inconvenience, as I said. Not only to me but the people around me because they have to watch what they say, and that is unfair,” she said.
Of course, she added a touch of dark humour, sharing that her fourth reason is that if ever she gets into a car accident, she is afraid that the paramedics won’t be able to pull her out of the car because she is oversized.
She joked that at her funeral, she does not want people to talk about how heavy her casket is.
“I do want the last laugh at my funeral, as to how heavy my casket was, yes, I am a funny person, but sh**t like that embarrasses me, so no,” she added.
The professional chef further said that she also wants to stop being uncomfortable at restaurants because of how small the chairs are, and also, she does not want to go on planes and keep asking for an extender.
Tlokana also shared that she doesn’t care what other people think because she is not doing this for them but for herself, as she has always been honest about how she felt being oversized.
In the next part of her video, she showed her fans her workout session with her trainer and putting in the work.
