Gordon Ramsay is the subject of an exciting new Netflix documentary that promises to show a side of the culinary icon we have never seen before.

Titled "Being Gordon Ramsay," the six-part series is officially set to premiere on February 18, 2026.

While we are used to seeing him as the fiery, shouting mentor in "Hell’s Kitchen" or the blunt saviour of failing businesses in "Kitchen Nightmares," this project takes a much more personal turn.

It follows him over a high-pressure nine-month period as he prepares to open five new restaurants in London’s 22 Bishopsgate building.

For those who might only know him for his colourful language and sharp wit, Ramsay actually rose to fame through incredible talent and a relentless work ethic.

Born in Scotland and raised in England, he initially dreamed of being a professional footballer before an injury led him to the kitchen.

He trained under legends like Marco Pierre White and eventually earned a staggering number of Michelin stars.

His transition to television began with "Boiling Point" in the late nineties, but it was his perfectionism and high-stakes personality that made "MasterChef" and his other shows global sensations.

The highlights of this new documentary involve a surprising amount of vulnerability.

In the official trailer, he admits that his massive new £20 million venture actually scares the sh** out of him.

He is seen reflecting on his humble roots, mentioning that he still sees himself as a little boy who is desperate to escape and keen to please. He notes that if he were to stop working, he feels he would stop existing.

This raw honesty is paired with a look at his life as a family man. His wife, Tana, appears in the trailer and jokes that after thirty years of marriage, he still drives her mental.

Family has always been a cornerstone for the chef, and the Ramsays have had plenty to celebrate recently.

His daughter, Holly, married Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty in December.

Ramsay has shared that he was a total hot mess during his father-of-the-bride speech, proving that even the toughest chef in the world has a soft spot for his children.

This blend of massive professional risk and heartwarming family moments makes the upcoming series a must-watch.
