A new season of "Beef" is almost ready to be served, and if you thought season one was a wild ride, this one looks like the emotional equivalent of a tidal wave in that pair of grasshoppers.

Season one introduced us to Danny (Steven Yeun at peak chaos) and Amy (Ali Wong, unapologetically unfiltered), whose petty road-rage feud escalated into a week-long spiral of destruction, self-sabotage and jaw-dropping emotional honesty.

Standout moments included the gas station meltdown that somehow felt like it belonged on everyone’s most relatable "Bad Day" playlist.

The tone was raw, funny, painful and somehow brilliant - part comedy, part therapy session for all our unspoken frustrations.

Now, season two is stepping away from that original feud and giving us a fresh story with familiar creative energy. This time, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny play a young couple working at a prestigious country club.

Their jobs aren’t glamorous; it’s more to pay the rent than live the dream, but everything changes when they witness a startling confrontation between their boss (Oscar Isaac) and his wife (Carey Mulligan).

This isn’t your average misunderstand‑at‑dinner argument; it’s loaded with shock, tension and class differences that ripple through every corner of the club.

Adding to the intrigue, the cast includes Minari Oscar winner Yuh‑Jung Youn and Parasite star Song Kang‑ho, with the story described as revolving around “favours and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.”

In other words, beneath the polished surfaces and flawless smiles, there’s plenty of tension, and the staff are the ones who have to deal with it all.

There will be eight episodes, each 30 minutes long, and the show’s creator Lee Sung Jin is back as showrunner and executive producer, so fans can expect the same writing and emotional nuance that made the first season a hit.

Alongside the "Beef" announcement, Netflix also revealed new looks at other big shows like "Bridgerton" season 4 and "Avatar: The Last Airbender" season 2 and many more.

The release date for "Beef" season two is April 16.
