Makhadzi responds to fraud claims with fiery social media rebuttal

Award-winning musician Makhadzi has fiercely rebutted allegations suggesting she attempted to defraud the Road Accident Fund (RAF) following her recent car accident.

The talented performer, known for her vibrant stage presence and dedication to her fans, took to social media to clarify her intentions behind her posts related to her recovery.

In a passionate update shared on social media, Makhadzi asserted that her social media communications were purely to keep her followers informed about her condition after the accident.

“All I posted was to let my fans know my progress after my accident,” she wrote.

The singer also addressed criticism over her choice to post updates publicly, explaining that her fans are an integral part of her journey: “I have people who are my followers that deserve to know what happened to me. If I keep quiet, people spreading lies about me will take over the narrative.”

Makhadzi reflected on the support of her followers and her right to share her own story.

 “No one must tell me not to update my followers about what is happening in my life. They are part of my life—they buys my music and tickets for my shows. They deserve to know.”

She added that she has always shared her life and achievements openly, highlighting that even during award wins, critics were rarely present to celebrate her success.

 “And no hater must tell me how I must post cz even when I won awards, I never Saw you congratulating me, ungenaphi manje?.the way I run my life in my own way I was gonna gonna tell my manager to go live kele ICU.”

The musician concluded by emphasising that she intends to continue running her life on her own terms, without letting criticism dictate how she communicates with her fans.
