Rachel John heads to South Africa for her birthday: Will Siya Kolisi join her?

Rachel John, the Dutch Nigerian model rumoured to be dating Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, is set to return to South Africa to celebrate her birthday.

This has left netizens speculating whether she will be celebrating with Kolisi.

On December 27, John took to Instagram to announce her upcoming trip to Mzansi, where she will celebrate her birthday on New Year’s Eve (December 31).

In her Instagram stories, she shared, “Celebrated my birthday with my friends today. My birthday is in 4 days, but I’m flying back to celebrate it there.”

Known for her frequent visits to South Africa, John often shares her adventures on social media.

While in Mzansi, she enjoys spending time with children in underprivileged communities and indulging in surfing.

Recently, she posted a series of pictures from her adventures, captioning them, “A little recap of the past few days ❤️.”

In a playful exchange in the comments, Kolisi responded to her post, “❤️🥹 SA looks good on you 🤭,” further fueling speculation about their relationship.

Despite the ongoing dating rumours, John and Kolisi did not spend Christmas together this year.

He was in the Seychelles with his two children, Nicholas, 11, and Keziah, 9, as well as his two siblings, Liyema and Liphelo.

John celebrated Christmas in Amsterdam with her family, sharing photos from an early birthday celebration.

Meanwhile, Kolisi posted a photo from the Seychelles airport, indicating that he and his children were returning to South Africa after their holiday on the beautiful island.

This news comes a year after Kolisi and his ex, Rachel Kolisi, announced their split in October 2024.

The couple had been together for over ten years, married for eight, and shared two children. They also legally adopted his two siblings in 2014.
