Mzansi’s very own Bonang “Queen B” Matheba had tongues wagging on social media after she showed up and showed out in Vietnam for the Miss Cosmo 2025 beauty pageant.
We all know that when it comes to presenting, Matheba is in her own league and does it flawlessly.
That is exactly what she did on Saturday when she co-hosted the international beauty pageant.
Even though we know that she is an exceptional host, social media users were still in awe and praised her for her work.
“I think Bonang gives a clear indication between a gift and a talent. Bonang is not talented; she’s gifted. There can only be 1 Vinolia Mashigo, Lebo Mathosa, Bonang Matheba. No one can ever do it like them,” @menzi_jele wrote.
“Bonang Matheba is exactly who she thinks she is. What an effortlessly cool and beautiful woman,” @XolieMahlangu shared.
“Bonang is a powerhouse,” @itsbabylonia added.
I could not agree more with the comments; nobody does it like her.
In addition, some fans even admitted that they only watched the pageant because Matheba is hosting it. How iconic!
Besides serving on stage as the host, she also served with fashion because it’s Matheba, and when it comes to fashion, she will never disappoint.
She wore a total of three gowns, and she looked absolutely stunning in all of them.
Here’s a glimpse into her different looks:
The dramatic black and gold gown - dress 1
The first gown was a breathtaking black and antique gold fitted gown, designed by Biji La Maison de Couture.
The dramatic and elegant dress features 3-D flowers at the back and also has a mermaid-style base with sequins and metallic embroidery all over it.
The red number - dress 2
The second dress was a dramatic interpretation of flames and embers, according to the designer Emagine by Bukola.
The top part of the dress features flame-like extensions that go upward, towards her neck and the bodice of the dress is heavily pleated with red and yellow beads, creating a fire-like effect.
While the bottom part of the dress transitions into a red pleated skirt.
The water dress - dress 3
The final dress was a silhouette that looks like it is an ode to water and movement, designed by Sheye Oladejo.
This elegant blue gown features different shades of blue, and it is heavily embellished with beads, crystals and sequins arranged into different patterns.
It also features a fringe detailing on the bottom of the dress.
All these stunning and jaw-dropping looks were styled by Nigerian celebrity stylist, Dahmola Oluwabukola.
