Vin Diesel has confirmed via an Instagram post that a script has been written for the famous football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, indicating that another Fast & Furious film is in development.

Following the intense conclusion of the latest sequel, fans are eager to know what the next instalment will bring. The possibility of another film has been confirmed by an announcement.

Diesel's post, which fueled the speculation, was captioned: "Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you, he is a real one. We wrote a role for him… @cristiano."

The Fast and Furious franchise has featured numerous powerful actors and actresses as villains, who often end up on the same side as Dom Toretto, played by Diesel. However, the villain from the last one, called Fast X, Dante Reyes (played by Jason Momoa), relentlessly schemed against Dom, his family, and his close ones, ultimately trying to force them to their surrender/defeat.

Fast X ended with what seemed like defeat; Dom’s friends died, his brother Jakob Toretto sacrificed himself to save Brian, Dom’s son. After all the hard survival, he and his son were met by a bomb that was placed by Dante under the bridge, and the end left fans shocked and wondering what would have happened.

This has prompted speculation among fans as they attempt to piece together the movie's conclusion and determine the specific role of Ronaldo, a soccer player, in the film.

Ronaldo has previously expressed an interest in an acting career, stating, "One of the things that I seek to challenge myself in, for example, is acting in a movie."

He also shared his desire for continuous learning and new challenges: "I hope I live more than 50 years to learn new things and face different challenges, and try to find solutions for them.”

This suggests that Ronaldo may already be exploring acting opportunities. Fans are speculating and asking questions about what kind of role the football star might take on in an upcoming film.

Fans expressed their opinions on Diesel's Instagram post, with one user, Osa_sa_45, commenting: "If you brought him when he was twenties, whichever car you drive, he's still faster.”

Another comment highlighted the close bond, stating, "He is more than a brother; he is part of the family now.⚽🚗💨💥”
