Amsterdam-born author and Siya Kolisi’s rumoured new bae, Rachel John, took to social media to celebrate a major milestone after her new book “Gelukking Heb Ik ADHD” (Fortunately, I Have ADHD) became the best seller days after it was released.
John’s memoir discusses her experience living with ADHD, depression and an eating disorder.
The 24-year-old excitedly captioned her post: “Life has been treating me so good lately💐💕🌸.
“Woke up this morning and saw my book became a bestseller after just one week.”
The post was accompanied by a series of images that give fans a glimpse into her life and what she has been up to, such as going on dates, purchasing jewellery, exercising, holding a bouquet and more.
The Dutch content creator caught the attention of South Africans after she was spotted with the Springboks captain last month.
The social media video showed John leaning toward the rugby star while they spoke, showing a relaxed exchange as the pair enjoyed the match with the rest of the group.
As mentioned in a previous article by “Independent Media Lifestyle”, John reportedly fell in love with the beauty of Mzansi after an unexpected work trip to Jeffery’s Bay fell through, and now, she splits her time between Amsterdam and South Africa.
Talking about SA, the creator took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, November 11, to share that she has landed in the Mother City after successfully launching her book just last week.
She shared glimpses of her book launch, surrounded by friends and family on Instagram, who came to support her.
“My book is officially OUT!” John excitedly captioned her post.
She shared that it took a year and a half to write the book, and she is in disbelief that the book is sold out everywhere.
“After a year and a half of writing, it is there. All of my sold vulnerable sides are now just in a book that is sold everywhere, wowie. That’s still crazy to say out loud.”
John continued to thank everyone who helped her curate the book, gave her advice and supported her all the way through.
