Nothing has been more dramatic than this year’s beauty pageants, including the prestigious Miss Universe, where the drama keeps on getting worse!

Omar Harfouch, who was a part of the judging panel at this year’s pageant but resigned, took to Instagram on Saturday, November 22, to share a list of “urgent measures” that need to be taken by the Miss Universe organisation.

“Miss Universe resigned judge Omar Harfouch is asking for ‘Urgent measures must be taken next week.”

The list consisted of five demands, including the resignation of the newly crowned Miss Universe 2025, Fatima Bosch, and the resignation of the president of the organisation, Raul Rocha.

He wrote that it has been confirmed that there are “financial and political ties between Bosch’s family and the Miss Universe organisation”.

In addition, the reason why he wants Rocha to resign from his position is due to “serious violations of ethics and the international charter of beauty competitions”.

Harfouch further demanded transparency of the national and international election system, the reign of Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær Theilvig, to be extended for another year and a full investigation of the sale of the Miss Universe organisation to Puerto Rico.

Miss Universe fans are not happy with how the pageant went this year, after many have expressed online how unethical Bosch’s win was, and fans believed that other contestants were much stronger than Bosch.

Furthermore, rumours have been circulating that Bosch’s father, Bernardo Bosch Hernández, a well-connected businessman, pulled a few strings so that her daughter could win the crown.

It has also been revealed that Bosch actually entered the Miss Universe Mexico pageant, just a few days before the finale.

A content creator from Mexico shared a video on TikTok, revealing that the drama with Bosch started way back in Mexico.

“Everything started wrong. Everything was weird ever since the national contest; things didn’t get better.

“So everything started when she accepted to be part of the Miss Universe edition in Mexico at the last minute. The way she enrolled was unusual.

“It was very last-minute in a way. They called her and looked for her so that she could be in the pageant,” the creator shared.

She further added that when Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico, nobody, including other contestants, went to congratulate her.

Instead, people applauded and rallied for a different contestant that people believed was supposed to win the crown.
