Teammates agree: Makazole Mapimpi has the best drip in the Springboks camp

When asked, “Who has the best drip?” Jesse Kriel was the first to respond: “Makazole Mapimpi”, which was seconded by Damian Willemse (who I personally think is a rather snappy dresser himself). In fact, Willemse threw Kriel’s name in there as well.
Aphelele Fassi and Jaden Hendricks are both in agreement.
Ultimately, while doing a little dance, Mapimpi acknowledges that he is indeed the player with the best drip.
The 35-year-old winger has a unique style that, I would say, not too many guys can pull off.
He recently rocked orange gingham print shorts with a black polo-style t-shirt, then paired them with loafers and midcalf white socks.
It sounds odd, yet Mapimpi looks effortlessly cool.
From the fluffy baby blue jersey to the lime green cardigan, his clothing choices are certainly not conventional.
While his casual street style look gives off an edgy New Yorker vibe, he easily pulls off a suit like he has just stepped off the cover of GQ.
In fact, the rugby player won the GQ South Africa “Best-Dressed Editor's Choice 2025” award.
So if you’re a guy looking to venture into a more unconventional, edgy style, yet still be able to look dapper in a suit, then Mapimpi is your go-to guy.
Unfortunately, we haven’t seen much on-the-field action from Mapimpi after he received a suspension that ruled him out of the Springboks' end-of-year tour.
