What’s got more flavour than a bunny chow and more heart than a Springbok fan? A new podcast that is proudly shouting, "We Are South African!"
Brand SA and Nabob Media have teamed up for a new series filled with stories, laughter, and local legends — from hustlers and heroes to everyday champions.
Brand SA GM Sithembile Ntombela said the podcast was a love letter to Mzansi and everyone who keeps its spirit alive, one story at a time.
“SA is bursting with untold stories of courage, creativity, and hope,” Ntombela said.
“This podcast captures the heartbeat of our nation, the people who make us who we are.
"It’s a celebration of South Africans doing extraordinary things, every single day.”
Nabob Media CEO Zareef Minty said: “We wanted to create something deeply inspiring, a series that doesn’t just entertain, but uplifts.
"‘We Are South African’ is about reclaiming our narrative and amplifying the voices that remind us of the greatness within our borders.”
The series aims to inspire both local and global audiences by showcasing the innovation, passion, and resilience that define South Africans.
Minty said listeners can expect a blend of motivation, heart, and authenticity, with every episode leaving them prouder than ever to be South African.
The “We Are South African” podcast aligns with Brand SA’s Play Your Part movement, encouraging every South African to contribute positively to the nation’s growth and image.
It will be available on the Brand SA and Nabob Media social media platforms from Mid-November 2025.
New episodes will be released weekly, featuring compelling guests and inspiring stories from across the nation.
