A$AP Rocky's 'loving husband' claim: Is he hinting at a secret marriage with Rihanna?

Did Hollywood’s favourite couple tie the knot in secret? American rapper A$AP Rocky might have let us in on the very low-key move after calling himself Rihanna’s husband not once but twice.  

Rocky has been letting the word “husband” roll off his tongue effortlessly lately, and this has led to fans wondering if it could mean the duo said “I do” intimately with just family and close friends.

@ShansDaBoss reacted to the headlines on X, saying, “They are Caribbean married.”

According to the fan, this might mean the couple could be married, but with no trace of paperwork. 

In an interview with “Elle Magazine” published on September 24, Rocky dropped the “husband” bombshell. When asked if he was looking forward to being a husband, he said,

“How you know I’m not already a husband? I’m still not gonna confirm it.” Weeks later, he dubbed himself “Rihanna’s husband” when speaking to “Perfect Magazine”.

The rapper shared where his happiness lies, saying, “I think peace really makes me happy. Being a father and a partner, and a loving husband in my family, is what makes me really, really happy. I hope this doesn’t sound cliché, and I would hate it if it does, because that’s honestly what gets me going.”

“Being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan. It doesn’t matter what hat I wear that day, it’s just about being able to give it my all and do these things,” he added.

Although the couple has not confirmed or denied being actually married, Rihanna and Rocky’s love story did not start overnight, as the two first connected through music more than a decade ago, when Rocky featured on Rihanna’s "Cockiness (Love It)" remix in 2012. 

They performed the song together on stage, giving fans a heated show when they shared a steamy moment of intense chemistry.

The following year, she appeared as his leading lady in the “Fashion Killa” music video, which had tongues wagging and fans guessing, sparking speculation about their chemistry before they officially became a couple.

Their bond only grew stronger over the years, leading to a beautiful family of five. The couple welcomed their first son, RZA Athelston Mayers, on May 13, 2022, followed by their second son, Riot Rose Mayers, on August 1, 2023. 

On September 13, Rihanna gave birth to their third child, and this time it was an adorable baby girl named Rocki Irish Mayers.
