Lerato Kganyago faces backlash amid husband's links to criminal activities

Mzansi media personality and DJ, Lerato Kganyago, is currently at the centre of a social media storm due to her estranged husband, Thami Ndlala.

Recently, Ndlala was implicated in the ongoing Madlanga Commission, where testimony has raised eyebrows about a hotel gifted to Kganyago in 2022.

The hotel in question, Hillel Villa & Spa, was spotlighted during the inquiry. 

During the hearings, a witness known as Witness A, an SAPS detective assigned to the Organised Crime Unit, testified from a safe house.

He revealed that he received an invitation to a party at Hillel Villa & Spa, allegedly sent by Ndlala through a colleague.

When he attended the event, Witness A was shocked to see several high-ranking police officials present, including Major-General Richard Shibiri.

Witness A suggested that this gathering might be part of efforts to influence investigations into criminal cartels operating in Gauteng.

Despite the focus on her husband, Kganyago has not been formally implicated in any wrongdoing.

However, the revelation concerning Hillel Villa & Spa has sparked a wave of discussions across social media platforms.

Netizens are now talking about the operations and ownership of the villa.

The luxury property, located in Northcliff, Johannesburg, markets itself as an exclusive hospitality venue offering accommodation, spa treatments, and private events.

As comments stream in, some are questioning whether Kganyago’s position at Metro FM should be in jeopardy.
