EvenBet Gaming and Hollywoodbets join forces to revolutionise online poker in Africa

EvenBet Gaming has partnered with Hollywoodbets to launch its online poker platform.

In a joint statement issued this week, EvenBet and Hollywoodbets said that the launch marks one of the first full-scale online poker offerings in Africa, bringing Texas Hold’em during the initial launch and other formats soon to South African players through Hollywoodbets’ trusted platform.

"Hollywoodbets, a long-established leader in sports betting and gaming, serves millions of players and continues to expand its portfolio with premium international content. By integrating EvenBet’s cutting-edge technology, the operator reinforces its position as the market leader while setting a new benchmark for poker entertainment in the region," the joint statement read. 

According to Dmitry Starostenkov, CEO of EvenBet Gaming, the partnership with Hollywoodbets to deliver one of Africa’s first fully functional online poker offerings is a landmark moment both for the company and the continent.

"Hollywoodbets’ scale, reputation, and local expertise make them the perfect partner to introduce a world-class poker experience to South African players," he said. 

Wayde Dorkin, Head of Product at Hollywoodbets, added that this marked an exciting new chapter for Hollywoodbets.
