“I miss you annoying me, Dawg,” is how Connie Ferguson captioned a video she recently shared on TikTok.
The throwback clip, filmed by her late husband Shona, offers fans a candid glimpse into the playful side of their relationship.
“The way he used to harass me!” she added in the caption. “Thinking about you and missing you is just part of me now, and I’m okay with it. You are UNFORGETTABLE! You are in me, and I LOVE YOU FOREVER. Long live my KING.”
The heartfelt post, which has already garnered over two million views, has struck a chord with fans.
In the video, Shona can be heard teasing Connie as he films her eating a russian sausage with slap chips and slices of brown bread. “This is what my wife is eating,” he says, with a playful tone.
Connie, who is a fitness fanatic, responds that because she goes to the gym, she can eat whatever she wants.
Shona then turns the camera to Connie’s sister, Lorato Pilane, who’s enjoying the same indulgent meal, before moving across the living room to show their daughters, Lesedi and Ali, having sushi instead.
The light-hearted clip ends with Shona revealing his own simple meal, a humble bowl of soft porridge.
Shona Ferguson, beloved actor and producer, passed away in July 2021 from COVID-19-related complications. He and Connie were married for 19 years, building both a family and a legacy together.
