Lady Gaga is reportedly making a grand entrance in season two of the eerie world of Tim Burton's hit Netflix series, "Wednesday", as she prepares to unveil her latest single, “Dead Dance”.

Scheduled for release next month, the song will be accompanied by a music video, both of which coincide with Gaga's debut as Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious and legendary teacher at the iconic Nevermore Academy.

Confirmed by Netflix earlier this year, Gaga's character is set to cross paths with the notorious Wednesday Addams, brought to life by Jenna Ortega.

According to the streaming giant, Rosaline is not just another educator; she is described as enigmatic and pivotal within the storyline, promising to add intriguing layers to an already captivating plot.

The episodes in the first part of "Wednesday" season 2 are set to hit Netflix on Wednesday, August 30, with a second batch arriving on September 3, likely featuring Gaga's highly anticipated debut.

According to online reports, the music video for “Dead Dance” is expected to showcase the hauntingly beautiful backdrop of the Island of the Dolls in Xochimilco, Mexico.

Notorious for its hundreds of decaying dolls hanging from trees, this eerie location was where Gaga and Burton were recently spotted, sparking speculation about its influence on the song and video.

While not many details have surfaced linking the two, word on the street is that Burton’s stylistic vision may be infused throughout.

Written specifically for the show, “Dead Dance” was reportedly written alongside Andrew Watt and Cirkut.

Both Watt and Cirkut previously joined Gaga for work on her most recent album, "Mayhem".

Given Gaga's track record of emotional and powerful songs, fans can expect “Dead Dance” to hit deep.

Meanwhile, during an interview at the South by Southwest Film & TV Festival, Ortega opened up about working with Gaga.

"She’s the best, definitely one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever worked with. It was just a really, really special environment to be there with her and Tim (Burton), two people that I respect and have been inspired by so much.”

She added, “Then just finding out that she’s such a sweetheart and really kind and reserved, it’s very strange. I love that you never know what to expect from her, but you can always expect kindness and generosity."

Joining Gaga in the second season are Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton and Noah Taylor. Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton and Haley Joel Osment will make guest appearances.
