Whether you took the time during the school holidays or left it to the day before school opened, covering school books to some, can be one of the most tedious things you can do.
It often becomes expensive because you have to buy the wrapping paper as well as the plastic cover to protect the books.
This is an additional expense not many parents can afford especially when it comes to mid-January when money can be a bit tight.
However this learner managed to come up with a brilliant idea on how to cover his books and certainly stand out from the rest of his classmates.
Instead of going for your everyday brown paper covers, TikToker @lustrylove, opted to get creative with cereal boxes instead.
The person posted a video captioned: "How Januworry has me wrapping my books" of three school books with their unusual wrapping.
One of the three books is covered with an Kellogg’s Cornflakes box while the second one is wrapped in a Weetbix box.
For the third book, he managed to use a carton of PicknPay longlife milk.
With over two million views and 181,000 likes the video has gone viral.
Thousands of people have jumped into the comment section raving about how much they love this unique idea.
A teacher commented: “As a teacher… I LOVE THIS!! It proves that irrespective of your financial situation, you are able to neatly cover the books. I will be using this video as a reference to my new class.”
