Mondli Makhoba, also known as 'Bhut'omdala,' embarked on his professional journey as a performing artist at the Durban City Hall in 1999. Over the past two decades, he has established himself as an accomplished actor, producer, entrepreneur, author and philanthropist.
Makhoba's talent has taken him to various corners of the world, including Australia and England, where he has showcased his skills through numerous theatre shows.
He has made appearances in both local and international productions, such as Generations The Legacy, Isithwmbiao, uZalo, Imbewu, eHostela, Easy Money, and Roots. One of his most notable roles to date has been on Showmax's highly acclaimed series, The Wife.
In addition to his television work, Makhoba has also graced the silver screen in various films, including but not limited to Paper planes, Casualty, iZulu, Lindwni, Grey Matter, and uMahamba Yedwa. Currently, he can be seen on the popular Mzansi Magic show, Shaka iLembe.
Beyond his successful career, Makhoba is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He established the Mondli Makhoba Foundation, which aims to mentor young boys and guide them toward becoming better men. These values resonated with Tabac, leading Makhoba to become the brand's new ambassador.
