Last night, the premier of the much-anticipated live-action Little Mermaid film brought all our aquatic dreams to life. Starring Halle Bailey as Ariel and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, we’re already know the film is going delight our inner child.

As the stars gathered in Los Angeles for the film, the red carpet was a sea of oceanic high-fashion. Halle Bailey led the way in a shimmery blue Valdrin Sahiti gown. The metallic fabric falling off her body like liquid created the optical illusion of rippling waves while the bustier detail was reminiscent of underwater jewels and majestic sea shells.

Her sister, Chloe, was also in attendance, representing South African fashion in a form-fitting Gert-Johan Coetzee number. The cut-out detailing and intricate bead-work that transformed her into a mesmerising sea-creature.

Other standout looks include Melissa McCarthy in the colour of the season - cobalt blue and statement sleeves, Simone Ashley in hot pink Atelier Versace, and Kelly Rowland in Prabal Gurung.
