Justin Bieber asks, "Are you with me?" on "Yukon", one of the viral tracks from his latest album, "Swag".
To answer your question, Justin, it's a resounding yes! Other "Bielebers" (fans of the singer) and I have been vibing to the "Love Yourself" hitmaker's latest incredible body of work since its release last month.
From “Purpose” to “Justice” and “Change”, we have been blessed with many incredible albums for the Canadian singer and songwriter, but this is why I think that this is one of the best of his career so far.
The music does the speaking
The 31-year-old father of one has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons in the past few months. From rumours to marital problems with his wife, Hailey Bieber, to allegations of substance abuse and mental health issues, the musician’s recent social media activity has had fans concerned.
However, like a true artist, Justin uses "Swag" to respond to his critics and provide context on his life.

The most profound of this is in “Go Baby”, where he professes his undying love and support. Then there is “Walking Away” where he declares that he plans to continue to honour his marriage vows.
Meanwhile, Justin also comically addresses his notorious encounters with the paparazzi on “Standing On Business”, featuring Druski - a phrase of his which went viral in April during an intense run-in with a cameraman.
Fusion of different sounds
From love ballads to dance tracks fused with pop and elements of hip hop, “Swag” has it all. Justin’s maturity as a musician shines through in this offering and his experimentation with different genres has offered music fans something vibrant and unique.
On “All I Can Take”, Justin sings about his struggles and his personal aspirations alongside catchy instrumental background beats - sharing his optimism for the future.
Then on “Daisies”, which has gone viral on social media, Justin’s positivity continues with an upbeat sound to complement the lyrics which once again speaks to his affection for Hailey.
But on “Sweet Spot”, a stand-out collaboration with rapper Sexyy Red,Justin samples both the hook and riff from New Edition's “Can You Stand the Rain” (1988) and “The Magnificent Seven Theme” (1960) as the duo brings the sexy and chilled vibes with the track.
He also gets fans in their feels with “Go Baby” a love anthem which encourages mutual support in a relationship, something that has resonated with many.
Universal themes
Speaking about giving the people what they want, Justin has used “Swag” to delve into themes which fans from all walks of life will be able to relate to. On “Dadz Love”, he sings about his experience with fatherhood following the birth of his son, Jack Blue Bieber, who will be turning one this week.
On “Butterflies”, another viral hit from the album, Justin delves into the complexities of relationships.
“Devotion” speaks about resilience, and the infectious “First Place” is yet another reminder for lovers to be a safe space for their partner.
