During the live broadcast of the 68th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1, South African-born comedian and TV personality, Trevor Noah, poked fun at multiple celebrities, including the controversial rapper, Nicki Minaj.

Noah, who was hosting the prestigious award show for the sixth time, shaded Minaj during his monologue after her recent public support for Donald Trump.

“Nicki Minaj is not here, she’s not here. Um, she is still at the White House with Donald Trump, discussing very important issues,” the comedian said.

The crowd, including the A-list celebs, cheered when Noah mocked Minaj. That’s not surprising, though.

Then he proceeded to imitate Trump by hilariously saying that Trump is probably telling the "Anaconda" rapper that he has the biggest butt between the two of them. LOL.

“Actually, Nicki, I have the biggest ass - everybody is saying it, Nicki. I know they say it’s you, but it's me. Wap wap,” Noah jokingly said.

On January 28, Minaj publicly declared herself as Trump’s “number one fan” at an event celebrating a new savings and investment program for children.

“I will say that I am probably the president's number one fan, and that's not going to change,” said Minaj, who was seen holding hands with Trump on the podium.

“And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more,” the controversial “Queen of Rap” continued.

After a few hours, Minaj shared a picture of her new gold card, with Trump’s face on it, on X with a caption: “Welp.”

She then followed up with two posts about Trump. She first shared a video that Trump posted on his official TikTok account, saying that she is with her “favourite president”, while Trump added that he is with the queen of rap.

Then, for her second post, she was ranting about finalising her American citizenship, gloating that she got the gold Trump card without having to “pay for it.”

“Finalising that citizenship paperwork as we speak, as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming president. Thanks to the petition, I wouldn’t have done it without you,” she added.

Minaj’s sudden support for Trump came as a shock to her fanbase, The Barbz, because many were confused as to why an iconic rapper like her would support Trump.

From claiming that she loves her fans and is thankful that they supported her all these years, to now saying that all these public appearances with Erika Kirk, JD Vance and Trump mean more to her than travelling around the world, performing for her fanbase.
