KIMBERLEY – The Northern Cape was buzzing with excitement as Masupatsela WOLF-SA Scouts welcomed the Chief Scout Leader, Tebogo Rakgabyane (from Kwa-Thema, Springs), and the Chief Master Guider, Nkosinathi Gcaba (from KwaZulu-Natal), for a memorable Provincial Visitation from March 28 to 30.
This action-packed weekend brought together Pathfinder Scouts (11-14 years old) and Venture Scouts (15-18 years old) from across the province for an immersive experience filled with adventure, leadership training, and camaraderie.
The Scouts eagerly participated in team-building exercises, outdoor challenges, pioneering skills, and educational workshops, all designed to strengthen their scouting abilities while fostering a spirit of unity and community service.
Adding to the excitement, the Chief Scout Leader delivered an inspiring address, emphasising the values of leadership, teamwork, and personal growth that lie at the heart of the Masupatsela WOLF-SA movement.

A key highlight of the visit was the special Provincial Master Guide Forum held on Sunday, March 31, where Master Guides (adult leaders) from across the Northern Cape had the invaluable opportunity to engage directly with Rakgabyane and Gcaba. This forum provided a platform for leaders to discuss strategies for expanding and strengthening the Masupatsela WOLF-SA scouting movement, deepening community partnerships, and ensuring a lasting impact on youth development.
“We are thrilled with the success of our Provincial Visitation to Kimberley,” said Rakgabyane. “The enthusiasm and dedication of the Pathfinder and Venture Scouts were truly inspiring. It’s incredible to witness the positive influence that Masupatsela WOLF-SA scouting continues to have on young lives in the Northern Cape.”
The visit was part of a broader national outreach initiative, where the Chief Scout Leader and Chief Master Guider are travelling across all nine provinces to connect with scouts and leaders, reinforce the movement’s core values, and celebrate the progress of youth empowerment through scouting.
