UPDATE 3: POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION NOW RESTRICTED TO AREAS FEEDING FROM ASHBURNHAM HALL SUBSTATIONS
POWER SUPPLY TO THE ENTIRE GALESHEWE TOWNSHIP AND MIDLANDS AREA WILL BE INTERRUPTED FOR TWO HOURS OR LESS.
The municipality's electrical team restored the power supply to areas supplied by MacDougall, Herlear, Carters Glen, and Hadison Park substations.
The outage is now restricted to areas supplied by Ashburnham and Hall Street substations, parts of the CBD, Kimberley North, West End, and Florianville. The Electrical team has embarked on its second mission; in bringing Ashburnham and Hall Street substations back online from HA Morris Substation, supply to the entire Galeshewe and Midlands will be affected for two hours or less.
