Hit-and-run incident claims life of 36-year-old woman in Galeshewe
A 36-year-old woman lost her life in a hit-and-run incident in Galeshewe after being struck by a speeding white VW vehicle that fled the scene.

A hit-and-run incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, September 7 2025, in Hulana Street, Galeshewe, when a 36-year-old woman was struck by a white VW vehicle travelling at high speed.
The driver allegedly fled the scene. As for the victim. despite being rushed to a local hospital, she was declared dead on arrival.
The Galeshewe Serious and Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the incident and is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the vehicle involved. The registration of the VW vehicle is currently unknown.
