St Patrick's CBC marked its 128th anniversary with a weekend of celebrations honouring its rich Catholic heritage, academic excellence, and community spirit.

St Patrick's CBC, a prestigious Catholic institution in Kimberley, recently marked a significant milestone - 128 years since its founding in 1897. The school celebrated this achievement with a series of events that brought together pupils, parents, and alumni.

The celebrations kicked off on Friday, September 5, with a sports day, followed by a braai for the alumni in the evening

The next day, fun activities were held at the school for pupils and parents, creating a lively atmosphere. A formal dinner was hosted in the evening, adding a touch of elegance to the celebrations.

The weekend concluded with a Communion service on Sunday morning, September 7. 

During the celebrations, the school's rich history and tradition of providing quality education were highlighted. With its roots firmly grounded in Kimberley's history, St Patrick's CBC has consistently delivered academic excellence and nurtured generations of young men and women.

The school, established by the Christian Brothers from Ireland, has a strong foundation in academic excellence, values-based education, and holistic development. St Patrick's CBC has consistently delivered impressive results. The school's commitment to academic rigour is reflected in its 100% pass rate in Grade 12 exams for 14 consecutive years.

The school's curriculum is built on the internationally respected Independent Examinations Board (IEB) framework, known for its strict academic standards. St Patrick's CBC caters to children from as young as two years old in its Early Childhood Development Centre to Grade 12, offering a well-rounded education that prepares learners for future success.
