The Kimberley Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are investigating a case of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm after a 17-year-old pupil was allegedly assaulted by a group of fellow pupils at the premises of a local high school in Kimberley on August 19.
It is believed that the pupil sustained serious injuries.
SAPS Northern Cape spokesperson Sergeant Molefi Shemane indicated that no arrests have been made.
