UPDATE 7 - DAY 2: POWER SUPPLY RESTORED IN MORE PARTS OF ROODEPAN WITHIN TWO HOURS
SUNSET MANOR AND JACKSONVILLE TO FOLLOW WITHIN FOUR HOURS
Progress:
Power supply will be restored to lower Roodepan's White City, Mintdraft, Old Roodepan, and Erwe within two hours.
- Sunset Manor will be back online within four hours.
Other Areas That Will Be Back Online Are:
- Homevale and Homelite
Cause of Outage: Emanates from persistent vandalism and theft at H.A Morris Substation. It came under attack again yesterday morning.
We regret the inconvenience and are pleading for patience while every effort is being undertaken to restore supply to the few areas still offline.
