Kimberley emergency services strained by power outages

THE ONGOING electrical outages in the Kimberley area have affected the 10111 Centre, leaving only three telephone lines operational. As a result, the public is experiencing delays in getting their calls answered due to high volumes.

Power restoration efforts are currently under way in Kimberley after a widespread outage caused by vandalism and theft at the HA Morris Substation. 

"We kindly request the public to be patient as our team works to respond to calls amidst these technical challenges," said authorities. Adding that updates will be provided once power is restored and all telephone lines are fully operational.

The 10111 Call Centre apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the public's understanding during this time.
