CONCERN is mounting in the small town of Kenhardt after 24-year-old Carl Ferus disappeared more than two weeks ago without a word or clue as to his whereabouts.

According to Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Molefi Shemane, Ferus was last seen on Thursday, 24 April 24, at his home in Kenhardt. Since then, there has been no sign of him, and his family and police are growing increasingly anxious for answers.

Details surrounding his disappearance remain scarce. It is unclear what he was wearing at the time, and no information has emerged to indicate where he might have gone.

The Kenhardt police are urging anyone who may have seen Ferus or knows anything about his movements on or after April 24 to come forward. The investigation is being handled by Sergeant Andrew Hendriks, who is appealing to the public for any tip-offs, no matter how minor they may seem.

Information can be reported directly to Sergeant Hendriks at 082 495 4762, the SAPS Crime Stop line at 08600 10111, or through the MySAPS app. All information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.

Authorities have reminded the public that there is no waiting period to report a missing person - and early action can make all the difference.

As the days pass, the hope remains that Ferus will be found safe and reunited with his loved ones. In the meantime, the search continues.
