SOMEONE in the Northern Cape is sitting on a golden ticket worth R1 million - and it could be you.

The life-changing Daily Lotto win stems from the March 14, 2025 draw, with Ithuba confirming that the winning ticket was bought in Okiep for just R15 using manually selected numbers.

This big win comes as the National Lottery operator celebrates six years of Daily Lotto jackpots, marking the milestone with a string of R1 million payouts throughout March.

“Since its launch in March 2019, Daily Lotto has paid out an impressive R2,590,418,665 to lucky South African winners,” Ithuba said in a statement.

Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza hailed the game's success, saying it’s proof of just how well the product resonates with South Africans.

“The success of Daily Lotto highlights the game’s popularity and the significant demand for an affordable, daily chance to win life-changing jackpots," she said.

“What makes Daily Lotto unique, is that the jackpot prize division doesn’t roll over if not won  - it rolls down to the next prize divisions, living up to its promise of making every day a payday,” Mabuza added.

Winners have a full year - 365 days from the draw date - to claim their prize. For any amount over R50,000, Ithuba also provides trauma counselling and financial advice to ensure winners can manage their newfound fortune wisely.

So if you recently bought a Daily Lotto ticket in Okiep, it might be time to double-check those numbers - your next stop could be millionaire status.
