Power restoration efforts underway in Kimberley after vandalism

UPDATE 4: POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION - COLVILLE, HOMESTEAD, FLORIANVILLE, PARTS OF GALESHEWE, AND ROODEPAN
The Municipality's Electrical Department is currently working to restore the power supply to Colville, Florianville, Homestead, Homevale, and parts of Roodepan. The affected areas supplied from the HA Morris Substation include Old Roodepan, Erwe, Mintdraft, Sunset Manor, Jacksonville, and certain sections of the Flats. Additionally, Galeshewe areas such as Witdam, Bloemanda, and Ramorwa are also affected.
Please note that parts of Galeshewe that were brought back online earlier this afternoon will experience a brief outage of 10 to 15 minutes within the next three hours. The transformer at HA Morris Substation, which supplies the currently offline areas, will be energised.
We are actively working to restore power to all affected areas this evening.
Cause of outage: The outage is due to persistent vandalism and theft at the HA Morris Substation, which was targeted again this morning.
We apologise for the inconvenience and for inadvertently omitting parts of Roodepan that are still experiencing an outage.
