The second leg of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) is well underway, its very exciting for fans and clubs.
A lot of teams are catching up and are competing for 2019/20 honours while a few others are fighting to remain on the top flight league.
The PSL is definitely among the most interesting leagues right now and we will be updating you every week on what is happening on the soccer pitch.
For starters let us talk about the new and super cosy relationship between Kaizer Chiefs and arch-rivals Orlando Pirates. Their ‘love-hate’ affair was on display on Wednesday at Orlando Stadium as the fully packed arena was painted in Kaizer Chiefs’ - Black and Gold colours.
It seems like the two rivals are now the best of friends after the Sea Robbers were able to put up a dazzlingly performance against a competitive Pretoria outfit Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 2018/19 league champions were given a proper football lesson and were dismissed by a disheartening 1 goal to nil score line as an on form Gabadinho Mhango ensured that the Soweto giant were victorious after brilliant goal in the 30th minute.
The CAF champions League challengers are apparently one of the top contenders for the Premier League as they are searching for their record tenth time league title glory.
On the other hand, Kaizer Chiefs’ supporters came out in their numbers to support the Sea Robbers.

Bidvest Wits who are slowly picking up points and are proving to be worth contenders for the PSL championship dismissed a high flying Bloemfontein Celtic side with a heart breaking 3-2.
The Clever Boys have maintained their fourth spot in the Absa Premiership with at least 3 games in hand and 11 points behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
The thrilling encounter saw both teams missing crucial chances as Ndumiso Mabena failed to pull one back for the visiting Siwelele two minutes after the Clever Boys had scored. The Clever Boys pushed for more goals in the latter stages of the half, but were unsuccessful in their quest as the visitors steadied ship.
Bloemfontein Celtics were level five minutes after halftime when Menzi Masuku ran to the back post to tap home Siphelele Luthuli’s low cross despite the best efforts of Wits goalkeeper Ricardo Goss. Following a brilliant performance and enthusiasm Siwelele went ahead after Andile Fikizolo tapped home Masuku’s cross from the right side in the 77th minute.
The lead was however short lived as Haashim Domingo’s low shot trickled into the net after a deflection wrong-footed Jackson Mabokgwane. Wits seized control in the last eight minutes when Gift Motupa back-heeled a rebound into an unguarded net after seeing his initial effort parried by Mabokgwane, thus ensuring victory.
