Women take control in Adulting Season 3, shaking the gents to their core

In Adulting Season 3, the men who used to be in charge are no longer running the show.

Bonga, Mpho, Eric, and Vuyani made choices in past seasons that left the women in their lives frustrated. But this time, the women are setting the rules, shaking things up, and making sure the men feel the impact.

Nkanyezi (Londeka Sishi) refuses to have a baby just because Bonga wants one. Mpho’s ex-wife, Zithulele (Lungile Duma), keeps him financially and emotionally stretched.

Eric’s girlfriend, Mampho (Gaisang Noge), expects more from him—while he remains drawn to Minkie (Samkelo Ndlovu).

On the other end, Vuyani’s club, V-UNights, is thriving thanks to Beth’s help, but he’s in risky territory, juggling an affair with another minister’s girlfriend while resisting Beth’s daughter.

This season, the women are making the moves while the men struggle to keep up. Adulting stars Lungile Duma, Londeka Sishi, and Gaisang Noge talk about their powerful roles.

Mpho’s Struggles: Too Many Responsibilities

Mpho is overwhelmed—paying for a house he doesn’t live in, supporting his kids, and dealing with his ex-wife’s new partner, Steve, who is becoming a big part of their lives.

Lungile Duma, who plays Zithulele, shares how her character has changed: “Last season, Zithulele was kind and forgiving. Now, she’s tough and doesn’t hold back. Love can bring out the best or worst in people—Zithu is at her worst.”

Bonga Faces a Challenge at Home

Bonga, the smooth talker of the group, is losing control in his own house. His wife, Nkanyezi, won’t compromise on having children, and he struggles to accept her decision.

Londeka Sishi, who plays Nkanyezi, explains: “She’s in love with Bonga but has past issues that make her cautious. This season, she’s fighting for what she wants.” For the first time, Bonga isn’t sure where he stands.

Eric’s Love Triangle

Last season, Mampho was Eric’s therapist, helping him adjust to fatherhood. Now, she’s his girlfriend—but his feelings for Minkie haven’t disappeared.

Gaisang K. Noge, who plays Mampho, sees this season as a turning point: “The women are the reason these men are feeling the heat. They’re the driving force behind everything happening.”

Naledi: A New Love for Mpho

Enter Naledi (Mapaseka Koetle), a single mom and Mpho’s new love interest. “She brings something fresh to Mpho’s life, but he already has a lot going on,” Koetle says.

Naledi seems like stability, but things aren’t always what they seem. “People will see a different side of Mpho because of her,” Koetle adds.

After years on Scandal!, Koetle was excited to join Adulting: “I was nervous because people know me as Dintle, but I love a challenge.”

She also checked off a career goal: “Working with Tshedza Pictures was on my wish list. Hopefully, this is just the start.”
