Afrobeat sensation DBOI’s new single ‘Bezos’ confirms his readiness to take chances

Rising Nigerian-born and South African-based singer and songwriter, Ignatius Ehinome Okojie aka DBOI unveils triumphant new single “Bezos”, a follow-up to last year's melodically haunting debut EP Genesis.
The 3 minutes track incorporates elements of afropop and afrobeats, and showcases the artist's impressive vocal range.
Pair this with his penchant for melody and seductive lyricism, you’d have a track that is recognisably similar yet still different.
The song is produced by award-winning Afrobeat writer/producer/artist KDDO aka Kiddominant who has worked with the late Hip-Hop star, AKA on his forthcoming album, Mass Country.
“Bezos'' reveals DBOI’s readiness to take chances and his refusal to abide by any confined definitions of music genres, showing his talent for creating a unique tune, thanks to a distinct fusion of sounds and vibes.
On the inspiration behind “Bezos,” DBOI says, “Music to me is a way to express my inner thoughts and also share my side of life through it. My new single – “Bezos” was inspired by nature, money, and nostalgic memories with the captivating guitars and smooth beats produced by the the award winning Kiddominant.”
