The 27-year-old forward, who has been with the club since childhood, has struggled to regain his top form despite glimpses of brilliance under new manager, Ruben Amorim.
According to The Daily Mail, Rashford, who debuted for United as an 18-year-old in 2016, has scored an impressive 138 goals in over 425 senior appearances. In addition to his scoring record, the England international has contributed 67 assists, playing a pivotal role in helping the Red Devils secure five major trophies, including two FA Cups and a Europa League title.
However, reports suggest that Rashford’s high wages and inconsistent performances have led Manchester United to consider selling him.
Football journalist Florian Plettenberg shared insights on social media platform X, shedding light on the club’s rationale, saying: “Manchester United would sell Marcus Rashford at the latest by the summer and would already be open to top offers in the winter. The club acknowledges his development under Ruben Amorim but considers him definitely not unsellable.”
