Strap on your elbow and knee pads skateboard lovers, the Kimberley Diamond Cup (KDC) 2024/25 Journey has begun.

Organisers of the Kimberley Diamond Cup are kicking off an exhilarating season of skateboarding, community, and youth empowerment right in the heart of the Northern Cape.

Now for anyone who’s experienced it, they will know that the KDC isn’t just a skateboarding event; it’s a movement aimed at inspiring the next generation, empowering local talent, and bringing local communities together through the spirit of sport.

And it doesn’t end there – the Kimberley Diamond Cup is also about showcasing the Northern Cape as South Africa’s premier destination for extreme sports and adventure.

From the breathtaking landscapes of the Kalahari to the iconic Big Hole in Kimberley, the Northern Cape offers more than just skateboarding; it’s a gateway to adventure and unforgettable experiences.

As the KDC tour rolls through this journey, supporters can expect a fusion of sports, culture, and adventure.

Every event on the schedule is designed to bring people together, build excitement, and inspire both young and old to dream big.

The event kicks off on Saturday, November 23 at the Bergsig Sports Grounds in Springbok and moves on the next day, Sunday November 24, to the Upington Sports Grounds in – where else – Upington.
