SAFA Free State ABC Motsepe League side D’General FC recently announced a boost to their coaching ranks, when the team brought on board two former players from two of South Africa’s biggest soccer teams.

Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Kabelo Metsimetsi will serve as the team’s new goalkeeper coach for the 2024/25 ABC Motsepe League season, and will take on the responsibility of strengthening D’General’s goalkeeping department.

The team has also appointed former Orlando Pirates striker James Mothibi as the club’s new head coach in a major boost for their technical team.

Mothibi brings a wealth of experience having guided the Northern Cape’s Jackspears FC to the provincial play-offs last season.

No doubt it will be his aim to replicate those achievements at D’General.
