KIMBERLEY Golf Club results for the week of April 24-27 and a look ahead to the period of May 3 to 12.
Results for April 24 to 27 are
The Wednesday, April 24 John Dorys sponsored 18-hole IPS was won by Stephan van Heerden on an excellent 44pts with Sean Ralph 2nd on 39pts and Jacques Gouws 3rd on 35pts.
The Thursday, April 25 KWV Niner was won by Keith Brown on 27pts with Peter Raubenheimer 2nd on a count-out with 25pts over Sharheem Richards.
The Friday, April 26 Flamingo sponsored Niner was won by Wilson Sophazi on a count-out with 20pts over 2nd placed Sadick Thomas with 3rd placed Neil Langley 3rd on 19pts.
The Saturday, April 27 Mercedes New Vaal sponsored Race to Fancourt competition on a 4-ball Alliance with two scores to count format, had a three-way tie at the top on 92 pts. Count-out winners were Grunch Industries over 2nd placed Remax/Betterbond with Vodacom Sultans of Swing third. Leaders so far after three rounds in this competition are 1st MVD, 2nd Grunch Industries and 3rd Unrestricted with Remax / Betterbond 4th out of 16 teams competing.
Also the normal Club BBS competition on Saturday was won by Lionel Jacobs and Piet Langeveldt with 46pts on a count-out over 2nd placed Susan and Neville Alexander with the same score.
We welcome and wish all schoolboy rugby players a great Wildeklawer tournament and invite any accompanying golfer parents to come and have a round of golf at our club.

Saturday, May 4: Royal Spa Monthly medal
Sunday, May 5: Junior series, Social golf with special rates, Some NC Senior Society golfers leave for Durban to play in the annual Seniors National tournament at Royal Durban and Durban Country Club courses.
Monday, May 6: Club closed but office open for business
Tuesday, May 7: Social golf with special rates applying
Wednesday, May 8: DARSHA sponsored 18-hole IPS
Thursday, May 9: KWV sponsored Niner with power play options
Friday, May 10: ISICEBI sponsored GOLF DAY
Saturday, May 11: KGC Club Champs over 36 holes with Men’s A, B and C and Ladies divisions
Sunday, May 12: Social golf with special rates
