TWO LUCKY players hit the jackpot in the recent Lotto Plus draws, with both individuals scooping well over R10 million each.

The National Lottery Operator, Ithuba, announced that the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 jackpots from draw number 2437 (May 11) were claimed by these participants.

Both winners used the Absa banking app, demonstrating the convenience and security of the digital platform.

The biggest winner, a Cape Town resident, bagged the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot, clinching a staggering R16,835,658.98, while another player walked away with the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot, pocketing a handsome R12,983,575.35.

The Western Cape winner, a regular National Lottery player, won his fortune with a R60 wager using the Quick Pick selection method on the Absa banking app.

Visiting the National Lottery Western Cape office this week to collect his prize, he expressed his immense gratitude. “Words cannot describe my gratitude for this life-changing opportunity. Winning this jackpot is a dream come true, and I am immensely thankful to the National Lottery for making it possible,” said the ecstatic winner.

The winner plans to manage his newfound wealth responsibly, intending to continue working and spending wisely. “I will not splurge on anything extravagant. After covering essential expenses, I plan to visit serene locations surrounded by nature, soaking in the tranquillity and enjoying my newfound peace of mind,” he shared.

The second winner was equally thrilled with their Lotto Plus 1 win. Both winners praised the ease and security of playing through the Absa app.
