The police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision near Kuruman that claimed the lives of seven people and left three others seriously injured.
THE POLICE are investigating a case of culpable homicide after two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision near Kuruman that claimed the lives of seven people and left three others seriously injured.
The accident happened on the R31 approximately 13km outside of Kuruman on Saturday morning.
Northern Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock said the accident involved a VW Polo and a Mazda Midge, with both vehicles having five occupants each.
“Seven persons died, four females and three males, and three people were transported to hospital with serious injuries,” said Kock,
