Police seek public’s help in locating missing Nababeep boy, 14

Concerned family members and the authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a 14-year-old boy who went missing from Nababeep on February 7, with possible sightings in Concordia, and urge anyone with information to contact the police.

CONCERNED family members and the authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 14-year-old David Waterboer, who has been missing since Friday, February 7.

According to Northern Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock, David was last seen at his home in Nababeep at around 11.30am on Friday. Later that day, he was reportedly spotted at an athletics event in Concordia.

The search for David continued into the weekend, with a possible sighting at a bus stop in Concordia on Saturday, February 8, at 6.20am. However, his whereabouts remain unknown.

The Nababeep SAPS, along with local community structures, have mobilised a search team to assist in finding him.

David was officially reported missing on February 8, and the police urge anyone with information to come forward.
