THE POLICE have requested the public’s assistance in locating Petrus Reynecke, 62, a resident of Vredeshof old age home in Dealesville who was reported missing last week.

Free State police spokesperson Captain Stephen Thakeng said Reynecke was last seen walking in the direction of a hiking spot at around 9am on September 5 as he was travelling to Kimberley.

“He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a beige jacket, a brown jacket and black sneakers.”

Anyone with any information that could assist the police in locating Reynecke is requested to contact Detective Sergeant Matlhomola Mashwabi of Dealesville Detective Services on 082 466 8604 or 060 935 2054.
