MEMBERS of the Upington Border Policing Unit in the ZF Mgcawu District made the Northern Cape proud by earning top accolades at the recent Divisional Excellence Awards held in Pretoria.
According to Northern Cape police spokesperson Colonel Cherelle Ehlers, Captain B Gilbert was celebrated as Woman of the Year, while Warrant Officer AN Lesch was named Man of the Year. They also secured the title of Best Vispol Team of the Year.
The Northern Cape provincial commissioner, Lieutenant-General Koliswa Otola, extended heartfelt congratulations to the award recipients, applauding their exemplary service, dedication, and outstanding conduct.
