Murder accused John-Ross Henderson, 38, will remain in custody after being denied bail by the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court. Henderson faces charges related to the murder of 28-year-old Jayson Afrique and the attempted murder of Afrique’s 27-year-old wife.

MURDER accused John-Ross Henderson, 38, will remain in custody after being denied bail by the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on October 4.

Henderson faces charges related to the murder of 28-year-old Jayson Afrique and the attempted murder of Afrique’s 27-year-old wife.

SAPS spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Sergio Kock confirmed the bail denial and stated that Henderson is scheduled to reappear in court on November 25.

“The suspect will remain in custody, and the investigation continues,” Kock added.
