CYM Cricket Club conveyed their appreciation to New Vaal Motors Mercedes-Benz for sponsoring them with a vehicle to attend a cricket match in Kathu as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations.

The dealership also assisted the Roodepan-based club with a voucher for diesel.
CYM Cricket Club is a community-based club that was established in Roodepan, Kimberley, in 2003.
To mark their 20th anniversary this year, the club arranged to take part in a tournament in Kathu on September 23, where they faced Postmasburg Cricket Club.
CYM executive member and player Etienne Frank explained that they wanted to celebrate this year’s anniversary in a “different manner” by playing a match outside of town.
With the generous sponsorship and donation from New Vaal Motors Mercedes-Benz, 20 CYM team members travelled to Kathu to participate in the match against Postmasburg Cricket Club.
Kathu Cricket Club provided the pitch for the match.
