The Kakamas police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 27-year-old man.
THE KAKAMAS police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 27-year-old man who went missing on August 4.
Kokamo Gortumetswe, also known as Fina, was last seen at around 8pm at a soccer event at Beresekinang farm in Cillie, Kakamas.
According to Northern Cape police spokesperson Captain Nelis Prins, Gortumetswe’s friends believed he was heading back to his girlfriend in Blouputs, Augrabies, but he never arrived.
He is described as 1.64 metres tall, of slender build and speaks English. He was last seen wearing light blue denim jeans, a blue T-shirt and Nike sneakers.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Warrant Officer Johny Basson at the Kakamas Detectives on 076 110 3133.
Prins reminded the public that there is no waiting period to report a person missing.
