EARLY childhood development (ECD) practitioners in Kathu, who successfully completed their studies in Further Education and Training Certificate in ECD through Shiloh Training, celebrated their hard work during a recent graduation ceremony.

The managing director of Shiloh Training, Christina van Rooyen, who provided the training to the educators, pointed out that ECD practitioners need to be adequately equipped in order to ensure that foundation phase learners receive the correct building blocks at the start of their academic careers.

“Early childhood development is a crucial part of a child’s development and quality training will ensure that a child is confident and ready for school. With qualified teachers, all children will enjoy quality education,” said Van Rooyen.
