Upington police seek help finding missing woman

THE UPINGTON police have requested the public’s assistance in locating 55-year-old Getruida “Meide” Swartz.

ZF Mgcawu District police spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela said Swartz was last seen on November 9, 2024.

“Swartz is believed to have left her home in Louisvaleweg on Saturday, November 9, 2024, and never returned. She was last seen wearing black and white striped pants, a black jacket and black shoes. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Swartz can contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Stephen Roos, on 082 495 4615 or 054 337 3400,” said Masegela.

He emphasised that missing persons can be reported at any police station without delay, as there is no waiting period required to file a report.
